Chicken Wire

Supplies

• heavy duty chicken wire
• wire cutters
• pliers
• file/grinder

END RESULT :)

Cut out + shaped signs out of the chicken wire. Cut the wire at an angle or sharpen on a grinder.

Bend both of the lines of the + into |_ 90 degree angles.

Staple

This is one of the easiest caltrops to make.

Supplies

• strong wire
• pliers
• wire cutters
• file/grinder

Cut heavy duty wire or metal rod. Go ahead and either cut the rod at an angle or sharpen on a bench grinder. Cut to about 6"/15cm

Bend the rod into a |_| shape. Make sure the 3 segments are equal length.

Bend into this Shape ^

Steeple

You will need a MIG welder and plain(non stainless) steel steeples.

Supplies

• 4 large steeples
• MIG welder

Directions

1. Look at the above picture. Note that you will probably have to bend the steeples outward a little bit.
2. Take two steeples and arrange them like this >< so that the hook onto each-other and weld them together. Make two of these.
3. Take the two welded >< and put them together as pictured above, and then weld them together too.

Tips

1. To remove fingerprints put on a pair of gloves and sandpaper the caltrops.
2. Spraypaint charcoal or some other shade of gray so that the caltrops will blend in with the pavement. Make sure to paint over the sharpened points too so that no shiny part is revealed.
